A total of 1,308 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2024 Batch B Stream 1 have successfully completed their service year in Anambra State, with strong encouragement to pursue entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
The passing-out ceremonies were held on Tuesday across various local government areas, with a major event taking place in Awka South Local Government Area.

Speaking at the Awka South event, the State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Pauline Ojisua, applauded the outgoing corps members and urged them to harness the knowledge and skills gained through the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme. She encouraged them to become job creators and contribute meaningfully to national development.
In a goodwill message delivered on behalf of the Chairman of Awka South LGA, Deputy Chairman Hon. Paul Ifeme advised the corps members to shun all forms of crime and social vices. He reminded them of their responsibility to uphold the values of integrity and to be worthy ambassadors of their families, communities, and the country.
The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the corps members as they transition into the next phase of their lives.
