Man Utd are unwilling to extend Chris Smalling’s loan spell at Roma
In January 2010, Smalling signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United and joined them officially in July 2010
The Giallorossi wanted the England defender to remain at Stadio Olimpico until the end of their Europa League campaign, but the Red Devils are refusing to agree to fresh terms.
Roma could still bring back Smalling for the 2020-21 season if they meet United’s demands over a permanent transfer.
