All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has been declared winner of the Lagos State governorship election.
According to Premium Times, Sanwo-olu defeated his closest rival, Jimi Agbaje of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with a wide margin of 533,304 votes.
INEC State Returning Officer, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede declared Sanwo-Olu winner having polled 739, 445 votes, winning all local governments in the process, while Agbaje polled 206,141 votes.
