Mukhtar Shehu Ladan, who is said to be 31-years old, has been declared winner of the Makarfi/Kudan Federal Constituency election in Kaduna state.
Ladan defeated a former speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Ahmed Hassan-Jumare, who contested under the PDP.
Ladan polled 59, 495 votes against Hassan-Jumare‘s 35,126 votes.
