The Nigerian police apprehended two armed terrorist disturbing Kogi State, the alleged claimed Senator Dino Melaye is their Godfather who supplies them ammunitions and financial supports.
This accusations might land Mr Dino rep of Kogi state into trouble due to to the crisis going on between him and the state Governor Yahaya Bello who has also claimed not to have anything to do with the accusation.
Moshood Jimoh, The Assistant police commissioner of Kogi State who served as the spokesman for the police said the gang members identified as Kabiru Saidu and Nuru Salisu were caught AK 47 rifles and some other weapons as well.
Mr Moshood said the alleged terrorists confessed after rounds of investigations that they were being financed by the Kogi West Senatorial District Representative, Mr Dino Melaye. He said this were parts of the they’ve looking for Melaye.
Though Melaye has denied the accusations levelled against says it is governor Bello that is using the police as a tool to mar his political career.
Up until now Sir Dino Melaye has not given his comments on the matter, but gave a note of warning to people attempting to rope him a crime he apparently knows nothing about .
