Cristiano Ronaldo wins the uefa player of the year award for the 3rd time followed by Barcelona star man who has also won the award twice.
The Portuguese outstanding performance in the just concluded Champions league , after scoring 12goals to become the highest goal scorer and also lifting the cup for Real Madrid beating Juventus 4-1 in the finals.
“There are the same goals every year, to meet the same challenges, win everything if possible, qualify for the World Cup with my national team,” said Ronaldo.
“This trophy will give me the motivation to keep working hard, never to give up. I am blessed and delighted to be with Real Madrid.”
Cristiano emerge winner of this prestigious award in 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2016/17 respectively.
