| Uche Ogah vs Ikpeazu |
Supreme Court has ordered the reinstatement of Okezie Ikpeazu as the Governor.
A federal High court presided by Justice Okon Abang ordered for immediate uninstall of Ikpeazu in June 27, 2016 on the allegation of tendering false tax document to the Independence Electoral Commission (INEC).
This followed by a suit filed by PDP guber candidate Uche Ogah who came second in the Primary election, already Justice Abang has issued to Ogah certificate of Office.
while Ikpeazu has went to file an appeal to court.which was diminished by the lower court
Judge of the Supreme Court Justice Onnoghen said Ikpeazu cannot be held responsible for the lapses in his tax document but the state government.
The Supreme court dismissed Ogah’s suit and faulted the Appeal court of his judgement on the High court that sack Ikpeazu
