The Murderers of Cynthia Osokogu were sentenced to Death By hanging by a Lagos state high court sitting in Igbosere.
Cynthia was Killed in 2012 by her social media friends who lured her into Lagos from Nassarawa state, She is a Post graduate Student of Nasarawa state University.

a which means absence of oxygen, She was choked to death by Her Murderers Okwumo Nwabufo and Olisaeloka Ezike who were both sentenced to death by Hanging by the Trial Judge, Justice Olabisi Akinlade.
The Two killers were found guilty of four count charges of Murderer, conspiracy to kill, compiracy to steal and stealing.
However 2 other defendants were discharged and Acquitted because the court discovered they have no hand in the death of Cynthia.
