United are open to selling certain players also to finance new signings; Garnacho is one of them. The winger attracted interest in January, race open again.

Alejandro Garnacho’s tenure at Manchester United appears to be nearing its end, with multiple reports indicating that the 20-year-old winger is poised to depart Old Trafford during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite making 58 appearances and scoring 11 goals this season, Garnacho has reportedly been advised by manager Ruben Amorim to seek opportunities elsewhere, as he does not feature in the club’s future plans. This decision follows a disappointing season for United, including a Europa League final loss to Tottenham and their worst-ever Premier League finish.

Financial challenges are also influencing the club’s decisions. United are facing severe financial difficulties and are looking to sell key young players like Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo to comply with profit and sustainability regulations. Garnacho is valued at around £45 million, and his sale would help the club stabilize its finances.

Interest in Garnacho is high, with clubs like Chelsea and Napoli reportedly showing interest. Napoli, in particular, have made Garnacho their number-one target to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is set to join Paris Saint-Germain. However, United have turned down an initial approach from Napoli that fell significantly below their valuation of the player.

While Garnacho has expressed happiness at United, the combination of managerial decisions and financial pressures suggests that a transfer is likely. The club is expected to undergo a significant squad overhaul this summer, and Garnacho’s departure appears to be part of that plan.
