Barcelona are amongst the teams interested in signing Juan Mata, The Sun reports, but the midfielder would have to take a pay cut if he wants to make a move to Camp Nou.
Mata’s Man Utd contract runs out at the end of the season and it is said the 31-year-old would jump at the chance to play with the Spanish champions.
Should he agree to the move, however, he would earn less than his current £170,000-per-week wages, although decent bonuses and a signing on fee could offset the drop in basic pay.
