President Mohammed Buhari will be heading to London on Tuesday May 8, 2018 and be back by Saturday 12 May, 2018.
“I will be traveling to the United Kingdom tomorrow, to see my doctor, at his request. Will be away for four days; back in Abuja on Saturday, May 12. The Presidency has issued a statement to this effect. I look forward to my 2-day State Visit to Jigawa State on Monday and Tuesday next week, upon my return.”
It will be recalled that President Buhari had a ‘technical stopover’ on his way to from the United States of America on a meeting with President Donald Trump.
The Presidency on Thursday, May 3, attributed President Muhammadu Buhari presence in London, United Kingdom to what it called “technical stopover.” Punch reports that the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Garba Shehu made this known on the telephone.
Buhari, who travelled to the United States for a meeting with President Donald Trump, had left Washington, D.C. on Tuesday after the Monday meeting.
