Chelsea want to lure Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to the club although are aware that the move is essentially impossible, given Barcelona’s reluctance to sell.
The Germany international is considered one of Europe’s top ‘keepers, with Mundo Deportivo reporting that Frank Lampard is keen on taking him to Stamford Bridge to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga.
But Barcelona will resist offers for the 28-year-old, with Ter Stegen contracted to the Liga club until the summer of 2022.
