Maduka Peter, 39years old father of two children, was arrested on the verge of smuggling coccaine to Dubai, The United Arab Emirate informed the Anti-Narchotic Agency that he went into drug trafficking to raise Money to which is a sum of N200,000 to cater for his family needs.
Madu is an Automobile dealer who is based in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, according to Airport Commander National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency(NDLEA), Ahmadu Garba who made it known to press men that the Drug trafficker was arrested at The Muritala Mohammed airport in Lagos.
“Peter concealed 1.555kg of cocaine in his luggage on his way to Dubai on an Etihad flight,” the Commander stated.
During Questioning,
He said: “I lost goods worth four million Naira few years ago and since then my life has been a shadow of itself. I smuggled the drug for two hundred thousand Naira(200,000) to solve family problems.” source: Vanguardnews
It has been said that the Cartel are very smart set of people who come up with different methods of exporting coccaine abroad. The NDLEA has been working at the optimum level to ensure nigeria’s security check improves and help eradicate drug trafficking.
