A soldier shot dead a Boko Haram bomber who endeavored to penetrate University of Maiduguri via the works department on Sunday, April 9. The bomber was executed attempting to penetrate University of Maiduguri through the works department. The Punch reported that the bomber entered the University through the back entryway with the point of infiltrating the school before being shot dead by a careful soldier.
Source learnt that public relations officer of the school, Mr Tanko Ahmed, additionally affirmed the bungled assault on the foundation. The representative said the episode happened around 11pm on Sunday night, April 9. He said the works department where the occurrence happened has been cordoned off by security agents to render the territory safe.
We could recollect that this will be the second time a bomber will assault University of Maiduguri after the first bombing in January that killed a lecturer of veterinary medication and four others. In another occurrence, some terrorist suspected to be Boko Haram Islamist, on Saturday, April 8, opened discharge at private and business vehicles along the Maiduguri-Damboa street.
