Ibrahim Idris Police Inspector General, has for the third time failed to appear before the Senate plenary.
The Senate had invited him to appear at plenary to explain what the police is doing about the persistent killings of Nigerians in Benue, Zamfara and Taraba states.
are also concerned over the alleged maltreatment of the Senator representing the Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye.
The Senate has gone into a closed-door session to discuss the next action to be taken on the Police IG.
