Cristiano Ronaldo led Portugal to a 2-1 comeback victory over Germany in the UEFA Nations League semi-final at Munich’s Allianz Arena, securing their place in Sunday’s final.

After a 10-minute delay caused by a hailstorm, Germany initially dominated, with Florian Wirtz scoring shortly after halftime, assisted by Joshua Kimmich in his 100th international appearance.

Portugal responded with two quick goals, first from substitute Francisco Conceição, who scored a brilliant 25-yard strike, followed by Ronaldo slotting home Nuno Mendes’ cross for his 137th international goal.

Germany nearly equalized through Karim Adeyemi, but Portugal remained threatening. Conceição earned Player of the Match honors and almost added another goal late on.

Portugal will now face either France or Spain, who are the past two Nations League champions, in the final on Sunday at the Allianz Arena.
