AC Milan director Igli Tare has returned to Italy after a mission in Croatia, where he presented a contract offer to Luka Modrić.
The proposal on the table is a one-year deal with an option to extend until June 2027, reflecting the club’s belief in Modrić’s continued ability to contribute at the highest level.
Tare personally led the talks as Milan look to bring experience, leadership, and world-class quality into their midfield. The meeting was said to be positive, with Modrić now taking time to consider the offer and make a final decision.
