Tinubu Visits Kaduna Today to Commission Key Development Projects

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Kaduna State today (Thursday) to commission several major infrastructure and development projects carried out by the administration of Governor Uba Sani, as part of activities marking the governor’s second anniversary in office.

Among the key projects set for inauguration are the 300-bed Specialist Hospital in Millennium City, aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery, and the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun. Tinubu will also commission road projects in Soba, Samaru Kataf, and the 24-kilometre Kafanchan Township Road.

Additional projects include the Tudun Biri Road, a 22km link road between Kauru and Kubau LGAs, and another Vocational Training Centre in Tudun Biri. The President is also expected to unveil 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses, part of Kaduna’s initiative to modernize public transportation.

The Kaduna State Government described the President’s visit as a milestone that highlights its commitment to infrastructure, human capital development, and inclusive economic growth.

Initially planned for Wednesday, Tinubu’s visit was postponed due to his trip to Benue State, where he met with victims and leaders following the recent deadly attacks in Yelewata. During that visit, he emphasized peace, national unity, and the need for lasting security solutions.

Governor Uba Sani, who took office in 2023, has focused his administration on rural infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare, and job creation. The projects being commissioned today reflect that agenda and are expected to make a lasting impact on the lives of Kaduna residents.
