Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, chased alleged kidnappers into the forest after foiling their suspected kidnapping attempts on Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
The governor was on his way to Abuja when he sighted dozens of vehicles parked by travelers at Akilubu village around 3:40 pm, signifying that alleged kidnappers were operating ahead. In a video posted on Twitter by Mukhtar Maigamo, the special assistant to the governor on public affairs, the governor is seen following the bandits into the forest.
