Cubana Chief Priest Mocks Burna Boy: “He Used to Squat in My House Before Calling Himself Giant of Africa”
Famous businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred controversy after claiming he once gave shelter to Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy back when he was still struggling to make a name.
During a recent live stream with TikTok influencer Peller, at his lavish Owerri mansion, Chief Priest boasted that Burna Boy once depended on him for accommodation.
“I have brought everybody [celebrities] here. CP no small. Burna Boy used to squat in my place for days. ‘Giant of Africa’? Somebody had to bring him up first. Money na water, and I’ve been in this business long before now,” he bragged.
The bold statement has been perceived by many as a subtle dig at Burna Boy, suggesting that before his fame and fortune, he was nothing without the support of others.
