President Bola Tinubu has visited persons recovering from last Friday’s attack by armed herders on Yelewata, in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State.
The attack claimed over 100 lives.
The patients are recuperating at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital.
Tinubu arrived at the Nigeria Air Force Base Airport in Makurdi at about 12:58 pm on a condolence visit to Benue State.
He was welcomed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, alongside the host Governor, Hyacinth Alia.
Also present were Senate Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro, other federal lawmakers from Benue, governors from the North Central region, as well as several ministers and top government officials.
